Original: 70 terror operatives killed in Gaza last month, including 17 who participated in Oct. 7 — IDF
The Israeli military says its forces killed 70 terror operatives in Gaza during the past month, including 17 who took part in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel. The figure comes as Israeli operations in the territory continue, and underscores the army's ongoing campaign against Hamas and other armed groups more than two years after the massacre that triggered the war.
Why now: The IDF's announcement of continued militant killings, including Oct. 7 participants, keeps attention on the ongoing Gaza war.
