Autumn photos show nature reclaiming forgotten Norwegian grasslands
Original: # norge # norway # nature # naturephotography # NatureTakesOver # forgotten # glemt # høst # autumn # grassland # skaugu
Photographers in Norway are sharing images of abandoned grassland being overtaken by wild growth this autumn, tagging them with themes of forgotten places and nature taking over. The pictures capture tall grasses and overgrown meadows in fall colours, drawing attention to how quickly farmland reverts to wilderness when left untended.
Why now: Autumn scenery of overgrown, abandoned landscapes resonates seasonally and taps into interest in rewilding and rural depopulation in Norway.
