Five people were killed and 47 injured in a drone attack on a university dormitory in Sudan, according to a doctors' group. The strike is attributed to the Rapid Support Forces, the paramilitary group fighting the Sudanese army in a conflict that has devastated the country. Medical workers continue to treat the wounded as condemnation of attacks on student housing grows.
Why now: The attack on civilian students comes amid intensifying fighting between Sudan's army and the RSF, drawing renewed international concern.
