A gardener in North Vancouver, Canada has photographed Gypsophila oldhamiana, commonly known as Manchurian or Chinese baby's breath. They note the image is heavily edited, so the petal colours are misleading: the flowers are actually warm white with light pink margins. The sighting was shared with plant and gardening communities during autumn.
Why now: Plant enthusiasts enjoy sharing and identifying flowers, especially with honest notes about photo editing.
