The Chicago Cubs have been swept out of the MLB playoffs by the San Diego Padres, ending their postseason run. With Chicago eliminated, some Cubs fans say they are returning to their usual playoff rooting interest: Kyle Schwarber, the former Cubs catcher now starring for the Philadelphia Phillies, whose October run continues.

Why now: The Cubs' elimination from the MLB playoffs is prompting fans to pick new teams to support.
