Iran has rejected reports about the timing of its delegation's departure from New York. In a statement on Wednesday, Iran's mission to the United Nations said the Iranian delegation left New York on Monday evening, in accordance with a schedule that had already been communicated. The statement, issued during the UN General Assembly period, pushes back on claims suggesting an earlier or unplanned exit.

Why now: Claims about when Iran's delegation left New York during the UN General Assembly have drawn attention and prompted an official denial.
