Regional planning commission asks residents how they travel
Original: How do you travel? Your regional planning commission wants to know
A regional planning commission is surveying the public about how they travel, asking residents to describe their daily transportation habits. Officials are gathering input to inform regional planning decisions, likely covering commuting, transit use, walking, cycling and driving patterns. It gives local residents a direct chance to shape how transportation in their area is planned and funded going forward.
Why now: The commission has launched a public survey on travel habits, prompting coverage and outreach.
