Cameroon conflict threatens nuns' climate projects

Original: For nuns in war-torn Cameroon, conflict threatens hard-won climate solutions

In war-torn Cameroon, Catholic nuns who developed local climate solutions are seeing their environmental work undermined by ongoing conflict. National Catholic Reporter reports that years of hard-won progress on sustainable projects are now at risk as violence disrupts communities and the sisters' ability to carry out their programs.

Why now: The Anglophone crisis in Cameroon continues to disrupt civilian life, and this story highlights how the conflict also endangers grassroots environmental efforts.
