LIV Golf event in Adelaide for 2027 looking unlikely, Kouts says

Original: golf

South Australian officials have conceded that LIV Golf is 'looking unlikely' to return to the state in 2027. The admission raises doubts over the future of the Saudi-backed tour's popular Adelaide event, which has been one of the best-attended stops on the LIV calendar since it launched in Australia.

Why now: The South Australian government's admission that the 2027 LIV Golf event may not go ahead is fresh news about a major sporting event for the state.
