A Ukrainian military colleague is assembling a new platoon of small-arms fire groups for anti-drone defence, nicknamed 'Micro-PPO'. The unit currently needs help with housing arrangements, construction materials and tools for building firing positions, and shotgun ammunition. An appeal asks the public to contribute, saying any help brings victory closer.
Why now: Supporters are being asked to donate supplies and funds as drone threats on the front line keep air-defense units in urgent need of equipment.
