Hobbs Administration Prioritized Solar Over Housing on State Land

Original: Gov. Katie Hobbs Administration Prioritized State Land For Solar Amid Housing Crisis

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs' administration is facing criticism for prioritizing state-owned land for solar energy development while Arizona grapples with a housing shortage. The Arizona Daily Independent reported the story, framing the land-use decision as coming at the expense of housing needs. The report has drawn attention to tensions between renewable energy goals and housing supply in the state.
