Russian Shahed drone hits Moldova near Chisinau
Original: BIG DEVELOPMENT A RUSSIAN SHAHED DRONES HAS HIT MOLDOVA NEAR THE CAPITAL (CHISINAU)
Reports say a Russian-made Shahed drone struck inside Moldova near the capital, Chisinau. Details on casualties, damage, and the exact location remain scarce. The claim is circulating widely among war-monitoring accounts and would mark a significant escalation if confirmed, as Moldova is not a party to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Why now: A reported drone strike inside Moldova would be a major escalation of the war beyond Ukraine's borders.
