Formula 1 says media day for the Bahrain Grand Prix is being held at Sepang in Malaysia, welcoming drivers and teams to the track for pre-race interviews and press duties. The combination of the Bahrain Grand Prix name with the Malaysian Sepang circuit is drawing attention, as the two venues are not normally linked in the current F1 calendar, prompting discussion among fans.
Why now: The unusual pairing of the Bahrain Grand Prix with the Sepang circuit in Malaysia is confusing and surprising to Formula 1 fans.
