New footage raises doubts over Spain's Ceuta migrant crisis claims

Original: Spain says the Ceuta crisis was resolved. So what are we looking at? 62 days later, new footage from the Spanish enclave

New footage from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, recorded some 62 days after Spain declared the migration crisis there resolved, shows large groups of migrants from the Maghreb on the enclave's beaches and streets. The scenes appear to contradict official claims from Spanish authorities that the situation had been brought under control, and are prompting questions about how the crisis was actually resolved and what the situation on the ground really looks like now.

Why now: The footage directly clashes with official Spanish statements that the crisis was resolved, fuelling debate over migration policy at the EU's southern border.
