Dominion unveils route changes for Valley Link Transmission line
Dominion Energy has announced revised routes for its proposed Valley Link Transmission line, a high-voltage power project in Virginia's Piedmont region. The changes come after local landowner and community concerns over the original corridors crossing farmland and scenic areas. Residents and officials are weighing how the new routes affect properties, with the Rappahannock News reporting the utility's latest proposal.
Why now: Locals are closely following any shift in the transmission line's path because it affects their land and countryside.
