Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab S12 tablet series, and the lineup skips the standard base model entirely this time. The range instead centres on the Plus variant, which returns after previously being part of the tablet family. Commentators note the unusual decision to drop the entry-level option, raising questions about pricing and where the series sits against Apple's iPad and Google's tablets.
Why now: Samsung's decision to drop the base model from its new tablet lineup is surprising and sparks debate about pricing and market strategy.
