Original: COUNTRY Financial® to Sponsor “War on 74” Rivalry Between Illinois State University and Bradley University
COUNTRY Financial will sponsor the 'War on 74', the long-running rivalry between Illinois State University and Bradley University, whose campuses sit along Interstate 74 in central Illinois. The sponsorship gives the regional matchup a named corporate backer, with both schools' athletic programmes expected to promote the partnership around future games between the Redbirds and the Braves.
Why now: A major regional insurer putting its name on a well-known college rivalry is new sponsorship news for central Illinois sports fans.
