MLB playoffs extra innings: does the ghost runner apply?
Original: MLB playoffs extra innings rules: Is there a ghost runner?
With the MLB playoffs underway, attention has turned to how extra innings are played in the postseason. The question being asked is whether the automatic runner on second base — often called the ghost runner — used in the regular season also applies in October.
