All passengers survived an attack aboard a flight after the captain managed to unlock the flight deck door and passengers overpowered the attacker. Commenters are stressing how narrowly disaster was avoided, noting that any one of those steps failing would likely have ended in mass casualties. The swift, coordinated response by the crew and travellers is being widely praised.
