Critics are accusing Donald Trump of humiliating the United States after service members were shown kneeling to prepare a red carpet for Chinese President Xi Jinping during an airport welcome. Comments say Trump greeted Xi personally, a courtesy they claim Xi did not reciprocate when Trump visited China, framing the scene as putting 'America on its knees' rather than America First.

Why now: A video of kneeling US service members at Xi's arrival has gone viral, drawing criticism of Trump's handling of US-China relations.

• HUMILIATING: Trump had U.S. service members on their knees cleaning the red carpet for China’s President Xi, then went to greet him at the airport, something Xi didn’t even do for Trump in China. Trump isn’t putting America First. He’s putting America on its knees. · CalltoActivism · 2.8K
