Giants bring back edge rusher Jihad Ward from Vikings practice squad
Original: Giants bringing back EDGE Jihad Ward off Vikings practice squad
The New York Giants are signing edge defender Jihad Ward off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, reuniting the veteran pass rusher with the team. The move adds depth to New York's defensive front as the season progresses. Ward previously spent time with the Giants, and the signing takes him away from Minnesota's practice squad, where he had been developing since joining.
Why now: The Giants are making a roster move to shore up their pass rush mid-season.
