Sony had announced that the PlayStation Store in Chile and Colombia would switch currency starting October 5. Days before the change was due to take effect, the official pages with information for both countries were taken down, and it is unclear what happened to the planned transition. Gamers in the region are asking whether the currency change is still going ahead or has been quietly delayed or cancelled.
