'Verity' meme outshines the film it shares a name with
Original: A ‘Verity’ meme is outshining the ‘Verity’ movie. They have nothing to do with each other.
A viral meme called 'Verity' is spreading widely online, overshadowing the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's thriller 'Verity'. The two have no connection, but audiences are mixing them up, drawing extra attention to the movie's release and prompting jokes about the coincidence.
Why now: The name overlap between the viral meme and the film adaptation is amusing people and driving conversation as the movie arrives.
