Simone Biles Still Undecided on Competing at 2028 LA Olympics
Original: Simone Biles Still on the Fence About the 2028 LA Olympics
Simone Biles says she has not decided whether she will compete at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. After her celebrated return at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she added to her record medal haul, the American gymnast remains noncommittal about a home-soil appearance, keeping fans and media guessing about whether the sport's biggest star will extend her career one more Olympic cycle.
Why now: Biles is the biggest name in gymnastics and a home Olympics in Los Angeles would be a defining moment, so her indecision draws attention.
