Boise State launches History Harvest on Idaho environmental history
Original: History Harvest to document Idaho’s environmental history and Andrus legacy
Boise State University is holding a History Harvest event to gather and document Idaho's environmental history and the legacy of former governor Cecil Andrus. Residents are invited to share artifacts, photographs and stories connected to the state's conservation past. The project aims to preserve public memories of Andrus, known for his environmental leadership, and the broader environmental movements that shaped Idaho.
Why now: A public university initiative inviting people to contribute their own materials to an environmental history archive naturally draws local attention.
