Apple Watch finally gets the fitness score rivals have had for years
Original: Apple Watch finally has the fitness score Galaxy and Pixel users have had for years
Apple Watch has gained a fitness score feature that Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel watches have offered for years. The metric gives users a single number reflecting their overall fitness level, something Apple's wearable previously lacked. The move is being framed as Apple catching up to competitors rather than leading, and comes as the smartwatch market continues to emphasise health and fitness tracking.
Why now: Apple adding a long-standing rival feature prompts comparisons between Apple, Samsung and Google wearables.
