SVT and SR demand full compensation for network costs

Original: svt kultur

Sveriges Television, the Swedish public broadcaster behind its culture coverage, is back in the spotlight as SVT and Sveriges Radio both demand full compensation to cover increased costs tied to the transmission network, Aftonbladet reports. Separately, TV4 Nyheterna is reporting a cordoned-off area at a Stockholm metro station. The compensation dispute is the item drawing attention in Sweden.

Why now: Public broadcasters SVT and SR publicly demanding full compensation for rising network costs is newsworthy in Sweden right now.
