Jamie Raskin's House Judiciary office is hiring staff in D.C.
Original: If you’re in D.C. and would like to spend the next two years making Donald Trump and his people miserable, Jamie Raskin
Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin is advertising job openings with the House Judiciary Committee's Democrats in Washington, D.C. The listing is being shared with a pointed framing: roles that would involve holding Donald Trump and his administration to account over the next two years. Rankin, the committee's top Democrat, is known for aggressive oversight of the president, so the openings are being read as a call for opposition-minded staffers.
Why now: The job posting is being framed as an opportunity to oppose Trump's administration, which resonates with politically engaged readers
