Nostalgic site streams synchronized 90s TV channels around the clock
Original: Wanna pretend you're back in the 90s watching tv? This site has you covered. Synchronized channels of old tv running 24/
A website called Spelunkr streams old television programming on synchronized channels running 24/7, letting viewers recreate the experience of channel-surfing in the 1990s. The project has been shared on Mastodon and linked from Metafilter, drawing attention from users keen on reliving the era of broadcast TV schedules rather than on-demand streaming.
Why now: Nostalgia for 90s-era linear television is resonating with audiences tired of on-demand streaming.
