Original: shaman
Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (GUR) has added Russian performers to its database of sanctioned or targeted individuals, with reports naming singers Tarzan and Koroleva, and Shaman also drawing attention in this context. Russian media covered the move, saying the artists were listed for allegedly supporting Moscow's war effort. The performers have not commented.
Why now: Reports that several high-profile Russian pop singers were added to Ukraine's GUR database sparked discussion in Russian-speaking media.
