SpaceX set to launch 130 payloads from Vandenberg
Original: SpaceX to transport 130 payloads to orbit in next Vandenberg launch
SpaceX's next launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California will carry roughly 130 payloads into orbit, according to the Ventura County Star. The mission would be one of the larger rideshare flights from the site, deploying a wide mix of satellites and smaller spacecraft for various customers in a single Falcon 9 flight.
Why now: The unusually high payload count for a single Vandenberg launch is drawing attention from space watchers.
