Maybank Adds ASNB Account Opening to MAE App
Original: Maybank: You Can Open An ASNB Account Via MAE App # asnb # banking # mae # maybank https://www. lowyat.net/2026/409185/m
Maybank customers in Malaysia can now open an ASNB (Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad) account directly through the MAE banking app, removing the need to visit a branch or ASNB counter. The move makes it easier for users to access popular fixed-price unit trust funds like ASB from their phones. It is being discussed as another step in digitalising Malaysian retail banking and investment services.
Why now: Malaysians are interested in easier access to ASNB unit trust funds following Maybank's app update.
