The upcoming LibreOffice 26.8 release brings improved typography for frames: line spacing now works correctly inside Writer frames, keeping text aligned to the document's baseline grid. The feature was highlighted on the project's German-language channels, with a pointer to the official 26.8 release notes. It is a welcome detail for users who rely on precise typographic layout in long documents.
