Ukrainian and Russian passengers reportedly averted mid-air attack on Boeing flight
Original: Украинец и русский действительно были в самолёте, который едва не разбился - вместе они и предотвратили крупнейший авиат
Israeli outlet Israel Hayom reports that a Ukrainian and a Russian man were passengers on a Boeing that nearly crashed, and that together they entered the cockpit after an onboard incident and took control of the plane, preventing what is described as the largest attempted aviation attack since September 11. The two men reportedly acted jointly to stabilise the aircraft. Details about the airline, route and identities of the men remain limited, and the reported account has not been independently confirmed by aviation authorities.
Why now: The extraordinary claim that passengers from two countries at war jointly foiled a major aviation attack is drawing wide attention.
