A new poll cited by Axios indicates that Americans' trust in the Supreme Court has fallen to its lowest recorded level, with critics saying the Court has failed the public on constitutional and civil rights questions. Commenters online are sharing the findings alongside accusations of illegality and authoritarian overreach, reflecting deepening polarisation over the Court's legitimacy and recent rulings.
Why now: Fresh polling showing record-low public trust in the Supreme Court is reigniting debate over its legitimacy and rulings.
