US Figure Jailed in Bolivia Over Assassination Plot Claim

Original: Assassination Plot Allegation Lands a MAGA Fixer in Bolivia Jail

Bolivian authorities have jailed a US political operative described as a MAGA fixer over allegations that he was involved in a plot to assassinate a figure in the country. The case has drawn attention because of the man's ties to Donald Trump's political movement and the unusual prospect of an American being detained in Bolivia on such charges. Details of the alleged plot and the suspect's identity remain limited.

Why now: The involvement of a figure tied to Trump's MAGA movement in a foreign assassination plot allegation is striking and politically charged.
