EU ambassador urges world media not to look away from Ukraine
Original: EU ambassador urges international media outlets not to lose interest in covering war in Ukraine EU Ambassador to Ukraine
Katarína Mathernová, the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, has called on foreign journalists and leading Western media outlets not to lose interest in the war in Ukraine or stop reporting on events there. Her appeal comes as concern grows that coverage of the conflict is fading as it drags on and other global stories dominate headlines.
Why now: Fears that international attention and media coverage of the Ukraine war are declining as the conflict continues.
