New STM32 magazine issue draws criticism over Windows focus
Original: Mein # STM32 Heft ist heute gekommen, mit interessanten Projekten, von der Spielekonsole bis zum Mini-Oszi. Ein Wermutst
A reader in Germany received the new STM32 special issue from Heise publishing, which features projects ranging from a game console to a mini oscilloscope. While praising the project selection, the reader voiced disappointment that the issue again assumes and describes Windows exclusively, calling on Heise online to include more free and open-source software coverage in its technical guides.
Why now: The magazine's exclusive focus on Windows despite STM32 development being well supported on Linux reignited the recurring debate over open-source support in German tech media.
