A foster dog named Maple has hit her first potty training milestones, with her owner reporting the progress proudly. Maple also learned how to sit by watching the family's other dog, Scout, whom the owner affectionately calls her big brother despite Scout being smaller. Both dogs are praised as geniuses, and the owner says she is counting Maple's achievements toward a list of good things, with a third one hoped for soon.

Why now: Feel-good pet updates like this resonate widely, especially in online dog-loving communities.
