Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club goes fully private
Original: Sterling Grove G&CC: Transitions to fully private status
Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club, the Troon-managed course in Surprise, Arizona, has announced it is transitioning to fully private status, ending public access to its tee times. The move means golfers who previously booked rounds there will need membership or an invitation to play. It is a notable shift for a course that has hosted professional events since opening in 2021.
Why now: Golfers who have played the public-access course are reacting to losing the ability to book tee times there.
