The Berlin State Archive is presenting partly unpublished film recordings on the evening of 11 November, from 6 to 8 pm, covering the building of the Berlin Wall through to its fall 65 years ago. Historian Anna Kokenge, alongside Sven Kriese and Jens Schöne, will provide historical context for the footage at the event, which is aimed at people deciding to attend at short notice.
Why now: The 65th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall has put archival footage and reflections on that era back in public focus.
