Apple is reportedly bringing its Apple Intelligence AI system to China with the iOS 27.3 update, roughly two years after the feature first launched elsewhere. Reports note the planned features are not new, as Chinese users have so far lacked access to the AI suite while it rolled out in other markets. The move follows long-running regulatory hurdles in China, and observers are watching whether the delayed arrival can catch up with local AI rivals.
Why now: Apple's AI system is finally expanding to the Chinese market after a two-year wait, marking a significant late rollout.
