Original: Picard Is the Ultimate Leader. Our Elected Officials Should Take Note. https:// beehaw.org/post/29272724
Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the commander from Star Trek: The Next Generation, is being praised as the ultimate example of leadership, with a call for elected officials to follow his approach. Fans point to his honesty, composure, and principled decision-making as qualities they find lacking in today's politicians, making the fictional captain a touchstone in discussions about political leadership.
Why now: People frustrated with current political leaders are using Picard as a benchmark for the leadership they wish to see.
