Disney fans doubt D23 promises after layoffs

Original: disney

Disney is facing fan scepticism over its big D23 announcements. Commentary from Inside the Magic argues the company's major teases may go nowhere, describing the situation as 'all talk, no shovels', because recent layoffs have undercut confidence that the announced projects will actually be built. The topic is being discussed in Canada and Mexico.

Why now: Fans are reacting to fears that Disney's layoff-filled period has stalled the projects it showcased at D23.
