MPFI researchers reveal how brain circuits rewire when vision begins
Original: MPFI researchers uncover new insights into circuit rewiring following the onset of visual experience
Researchers at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience have published findings on how neural circuits reorganise after the onset of visual experience. The work, announced via EurekAlert, offers new insight into how the developing brain adapts its wiring in response to sensory input, a process relevant to understanding developmental neuroscience and plasticity.
Why now: The findings were newly announced, drawing attention from neuroscience and biology communities interested in brain development.
