Evan Prodromou is promoting the Fediverse Multimedia Grants, a funding program offering money to creators building podcasts, artist portfolios, webcomics, music stores, video streams and other new kinds of channels on the decentralised social web. The program also pays developers to support the creators' projects, and a submission deadline has been announced.

Why now: The call for applications is spreading quickly as creators and developers look for funded opportunities on the open social web.
