KFC and Taco Bell locations close across Puerto Rico

Original: KFC, Taco Bell locations close across Puerto Rico as they seek new franchise partner # Business # Foodanddrink # Worldne

KFC and Taco Bell restaurants have shut down across Puerto Rico as the chain's operator searches for a new franchise partner. The closures leave the US territory without its Yum! Brands fast-food outlets while a replacement operator is found. No timeline for reopening has been announced, and customers are reacting to losing two of the island's best-known fast-food brands.

Why now: Widespread closures of major fast-food chains across Puerto Rico directly affect local consumers and workers.
