BioWare co-founder says game executives have never made a game
Original: BioWare co-founder: game execs "have never made a game" and don't get it
Greg Zeschuk, who co-founded BioWare before leaving the studio in 2012, says most video game industry executives have never actually made a game and therefore don't understand how development works. His comments fuel ongoing debate about layoff-driven corporate management and the disconnect between studio creators and publishers.
Why now: The remarks land amid widespread frustration over executive-driven layoffs and decisions affecting game studios.
