Irish PM Accuses World Of Failing Palestine In UNGA Speech
Original: ‘We Have Failed Palestine’: Irish PM Holds Nothing Back In Fiery Takedown Of Bibi Over Gaza At UNGA
Ireland's Taoiseach delivered a sharply critical address at the UN General Assembly, saying 'We have failed Palestine' and directing strong words at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the war in Gaza. The blunt rebuke of Israel from the leader of one of its most vocal EU critics quickly drew wide attention and debate.
Why now: The Irish leader's unusually direct condemnation of Netanyahu over Gaza at the UN is striking coming from an EU head of government.
