Original: "World scientists’ warning to humanity: a third notice" https:// scientistswarning.forestry.ore gonstate.edu/sites/defau
An international coalition of researchers, the Alliance of World Scientists, has issued a third notice to humanity, following the model of earlier scientists' warnings about environmental degradation. The paper urges immediate action on climate change, biodiversity loss and resource overuse, arguing that failure to act will carry severe consequences for human societies. Posts sharing the notice urge readers not to ignore the warning.
Why now: A major new scientific warning about environmental collapse is circulating and prompting renewed alarm among researchers and the public.
